Infrastructure companies are the glue that holds the connectivity industry together. These companies are instrumental in helping service providers expand their networks and improve their coverage to achieve better connectivity.
Infrastructure companies not only need to understand how they can help operators meet their 5G coverage goals, but they also need to know how new services such as edge computing can be monetized and added to their portfolio of products. New spectrum opportunities are also important because infrastructure companies need to know how that spectrum is going to be used to meet 5G deployment goals or for private networks or even to build a greenfield network. Last mile connectivity is also critical – as service providers look to tower owners and infrastructure players to help provide that connectivity – whether it is fiber or wireless.
