Over the past couple of years there’s been a massive influx of government funding programs for broadband services. But it’s hard to keep track of all these initiatives. The Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program, which will provide more than $42 billion in funding, is perhaps the most high-profile initiative but there are others such as the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) and the American Rescue Plan. This panel will provide the latest updates on these various government initiatives as well as provide suggestions for how to navigate them.
