Chris Parra is vice president of business development and strategy for the Z5G group at Zayo. Chris is responsible for the development of small cell networks across Zayo’s global network and broadening the 5G ecosystem to include Zayo’s key mega-verticals. Chris excels at developing key stakeholder relationships to accelerate revenue growth and leading complex negotiations. He has overseen the construction of thousands of small cell nodes in multiple jurisdictions. Much of Chris’ focus today is how to help Zayo’s customers, beyond the wireless customers, to participate in the roll out of 5G.
Chris has also worked extensively on the regulatory relief efforts to expedite the construction of small cell networks. He regularly engages with local governments in the development of new ordinances regulating the placement of small cells and conducts negotiations with city attorneys, public works personnel, city managers, and elected officials.
Prior to Zayo Chris ran the small cell networks group at Uniti. Under Chris small cell densification was Uniti’s fastest growing product. Chris’ team was also responsible for the construction and implementation of small cell networks across 10+ metro areas.
