For the past 18 years, Nick has worked in various wireless engineering roles. He has experience in both licensed and unlicensed spectrum, and both mobile and fixed architectures. Nick began his career migrating first generation mobile wireless networks to 2G. Following the evolution of mobile wireless, he spent several years operating and optimizing 3G infrastructure before shifting focus to fixed wireless access. This is where Nick led the introduction of TD-LTE into the fixed wireless industry beginning with the first documented TD-LTE trial in Canada during 2011.
Today Nick leads Telrad products and systems engineering globally. As part of this role Nick overseas a team of expert product managers and systems engineers. Bringing a wealth of experience as both a wireless network operator and wireless equipment manufacturer, Nick understands both perspectives and their respective challenge.
Nick actively participates in standards such as CBRS Alliance where he currently holds the Vice Chairman of Test and Certification working group position
