Rachel Jewett joined the Via Satellite team in 2019 and is now the publication’s Senior Managing Editor. She oversees daily industry reporting and manages and edits the monthly production of Via Satellite magazine. Rachel also hosts and co-produces Via Satellite’s On Orbit podcast. Rachel was previously a news editor for (former) commuter daily The Washington Post Express, where she edited for the Nation and World section, along with writing and editing human interest news about the D.C. area. She is also an alum of the Dow Jones News Fund program and interned at The New York Times as a copy editor on the Arts desk in 2015. Rachel has a degree in journalism from Ball State University.
