Rodrigo Gomez is Vice President, Future Systems of OneWeb Technologies. He is responsible for the development of the future portfolio within OneWeb Technologies, translating Government (US and coalition) needs and expectations into executable plans. Mr. Gomez is also responsible for OneWeb Technologies’ role in future OneWeb satellite constellation including transitional and future constellation initiatives, special payloads, custom ground and/or space capabilities, secure payload operations, and U.S. government and Coalition-related requirements.
Mr. Gomez works as an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University Volgenau School of Engineering teaching at the ECE and IT departments. Prior to this role, Mr. Gomez served as Vice President of Engineering for SES Government Solutions. He has over 25 years of professional experience and served in multiple leadership and technical roles at OneWeb, COMSAT, TrustComm, Inmarsat Government and others.
Mr. Gomez holds a MS in Engineering Management from George Washington University and BS in Electronics Engineering from Santo Tomas University in Colombia.
