As networks expand, supply chain constraints are one of the biggest headaches facing our industry—slowing down deployments and costs. Smart procurement teams are taking proactive action to expand their supplier networks and to increase diversity within their supply chains.

Taking place in room R09, Wednesday 1:00PM – 4:30PM with a happy hour from 4:30PM – 5:15PM.

What To Expect

Procurement teams can meet with an outstanding ecosystem of suppliers at Connect (X) by participating in Supply Chain Matchmaking.

This is the easiest way to maximize your appearance at Connect (X)!

Procurement teams will identify their needs in advance and accept or reject requests to meet from suppliers on-site.

Connecting Diverse Companies with Wireless Business Opportunities

Network operators are increasingly requesting that their supply chains look more like the populations that they serve. To compete for NTIA’s IIJA and BEAD grants, forward-looking procurement teams are seeking new suppliers from underrepresented populations including women and minority-owned businesses. Connect (X) will be bringing these suppliers to the event to meet with leading procurement teams!

Procurement Matchmaking & Appointment Setting

How To Access 1:1 Meetings with Procurement Officials:

  1. Register for Connect (X) 2023.
  2. Companies identifying as diverse suppliers—as well as all exhibitors and sponsors—will receive a personalized matchmaking registration email. This email will be sent 2 weeks prior to Connect (X).
  3. Download the Connect (X) mobile app and complete your personal profile. Add a company profile outlining your organization’s services and who you’d like to meet at the show.
  4. Browse the online directory for potential collaborations.
  5. Make and receive meeting requests from other organizations, selecting only those whose profile meets your requirements. Meetings will be hosted in-person during Connect (X)!

The goal of matchmaking meetings is for companies to gather information regarding specific programs, to learn more about their products and services, and to establish professional relationships that could potentially lead to lucrative business deals.
